Best Urgent Care Clinics in Haines City and Davenport (2026)

This list is published by Elon Health Urgent Care, which ranks itself first. We applied the criteria below to every clinic, including our own; check each clinic's details directly before you go.

Haines City and Davenport share one road: US-27. Almost every walk-in clinic between the two towns sits on it or just off it, in a stretch of about 13 miles from Centra Care Haines City up to Centra Care Four Corners. This list walks that corridor from south to north and ranks the clinics on the same criteria, with an honest note for Haines City residents: the two Haines City clinics are closer to you, and Elon Health Urgent Care, which ranks first overall, is worth the drive mainly for the services and schedule described below.

How we built this list

We read each clinic's own website on September 23, 2026 and applied these criteria to every clinic, including our own:

• Where it sits on US-27. Straight-line distance from each clinic to central Haines City and to Elon. Elon is at the north end, about 8 miles from central Haines City, so it loses this point for Haines City residents.
• Walk-in and open 7 days. The five urgent cares meet this. The sixth clinic does not publish hours on the pages we read.
• On-site X-ray and lab. All five urgent cares list both, so this is a tie.
• Weekend hours as listed. BayCare lists Saturday and Sunday until 6pm and the Centra Care clinics open at 8am on weekends; Elon's weekend hours are 9am-5pm. Elon does not win this point.
• Services under one roof. Occupational medicine, DOT exams, drug screening, B12 injections with lab testing, IV therapy, PT/INR checks, EKG and preoperative evaluations. Elon lists B12 injections with lab testing, PT/INR checks, ear lavage and preoperative evaluations, which we did not find on the other clinics' pages. Innovation Wellness Center also lists IV hydration, EKG, DOT physicals and drug testing, and Centra Care lists DOT physicals and occupational health.

Hours are as listed on each clinic's website in September 2026. Call ahead to confirm hours and services at every clinic, including Elon.

The US-27 corridor, south to north

• Haines City, around the 35700-36300 block: Centra Care Haines City, then BayCare Urgent Care, then the HCA Florida Haines City freestanding ER at 36810.
• Just off US-27 on Patterson Road: Innovation Wellness Center.
• Davenport, around the 40100-40300 block: the AdventHealth Heart of Florida hospital, Centra Care Davenport and a Quest lab, all close together.
• North Davenport, 43378: Elon Health Urgent Care, just south of the I-4 interchange.
• North of I-4, 49513: Centra Care Four Corners, toward US-192.

1. Elon Health Urgent Care

Elon is the northernmost stop before I-4, at 43378 US Highway 27, Suite A. It is open Mon-Fri 8am-8pm and Sat-Sun 9am-5pm, takes walk-ins and offers online booking. Care is led by Medical Director Dr. Leonardo Cisneros, FACEP, a board-certified emergency physician, and you may be seen by a physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner.

For Haines City residents, Elon makes the most sense in two cases: you commute north on US-27 toward I-4 and can stop on the way; or you need a service fewer clinics list, such as B12 injections with on-site deficiency testing, IV therapy, PT/INR checks, ear lavage or a preoperative evaluation. Elon also has X-ray, EKG and on-site blood draws. It accepts most major plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, Ambetter, Sunshine Health and Polk HealthCare Plan; see accepted insurance. Self-pay is available; call for current rates.

For a simple sore throat when you live near downtown Haines City, the clinics a mile or two away are the practical choice. Our Haines City page has more on Elon's service to the area.

2. BayCare Urgent Care (Haines City)

At 36245 US Highway 27, BayCare lists Mon-Fri 8am-8pm and Sat-Sun 9am-6pm, as listed on its website in September 2026. That 6pm weekend close is the latest listed weekend close on this corridor. Its page says "no appointment needed, just walk right in," offers Save Your Spot online, and lists care for adults and children starting at 6 months old. Services include X-ray, lab testing as needed, COVID-19 testing, nebulizer treatment, walk-in drug testing, camp and school physicals, and flu shots and immunizations. Elon does not list vaccines, so for a shot, BayCare or Centra Care, which both list vaccines, is the better fit.

3. AdventHealth Centra Care Haines City

A little further south at 35716 US Highway 27 N, Centra Care lists Mon-Fri 8am-8pm and Sat-Sun 8am-5pm, as listed on its website in September 2026, so it opens an hour earlier than Elon on weekends. It lists X-ray, lab tests (glucose, flu, mono, strep, pregnancy, urinalysis), stitches, DOT and sports physicals, occupational health and on-site prescription filling. Its page states that wait times vary because patients with the greatest medical needs are seen first. It is about a mile from central Haines City.

4. AdventHealth Centra Care Davenport

Centra Care Davenport, at 40219 Highway 27, Suite 101, is roughly the halfway point: about 5 miles from central Haines City and 3 from Elon, near the Heart of Florida hospital. It lists the same Centra Care hours, X-ray, lab, stitches, drug testing, and school, sports, camp and DOT physicals.

5. AdventHealth Centra Care Four Corners

This clinic is north of I-4 at 49513 US Highway 27, about 14 miles from Haines City. It is useful mainly if you work in the Four Corners area. It lists walk-ins every day, X-ray, lab, stitches and occupational health, with the standard Centra Care hours.

6. Innovation Wellness Center

This independent clinic at 280 Patterson Road, Suite 2, describes itself as a walk-in clinic in Haines City and takes bookings online. Its site lists primary and urgent care visits, telehealth, laboratory services, DOT/CDL and school physicals, occupational health and drug testing. We did not find published hours or on-site X-ray on its pages, so it ranks last on our criteria. Call to check hours before you go.

Urgent care or the ER on US-27

Call 911 for chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke signs such as sudden face drooping, arm weakness or slurred speech, severe bleeding, a head injury followed by confusion, or a baby under 3 months with a temperature of 100.4F (38C) or higher. The CDC advises calling an ambulance for stroke signs rather than driving.

On this corridor, the emergency options are the AdventHealth Heart of Florida hospital at 40100 US Highway 27 in Davenport and HCA Florida Haines City Emergency at 36810 Highway 27, a freestanding ER that is open 24 hours and lists a dedicated pediatric treatment room. Freestanding ERs are emergency departments and bill as ERs, even when they look like a small clinic from the road.
