This list is published by Elon Health Urgent Care, which ranks itself first. We applied the criteria below to every clinic, including our own; check each clinic's details directly before you go.

This list is for people in Davenport who need same-day care for an illness or minor injury and want to know which walk-in clinics are nearby. Our short answer: for central Davenport on US-27, Elon Health Urgent Care is our pick, but the AdventHealth and BayCare clinics along the same highway list on-site X-ray and lab testing too, and one of them stays open later on weekends. Use the table and the notes on each clinic to match a clinic to where you live and when you need care.

How we built this list

We read each clinic's own website on September 23, 2026 and scored it against six criteria. Where Elon does not come out ahead, we say so.

• Location on the Davenport stretch of US-27, judged by the address each clinic lists. Elon sits between the Centra Care Davenport and Centra Care Four Corners addresses. Neighborhoods near Four Corners or Haines City will have a closer option.
• Open 7 days with walk-ins accepted. This is a tie: every urgent care below lists 7-day walk-in care.
• On-site X-ray and on-site lab testing listed. Also a tie among the urgent cares. The retail clinic on this list does not state either.
• Evening and weekend hours. Elon does not win this one. BayCare Haines City lists weekend hours to 6pm, and the Centra Care sites open at 8am on weekends, an hour before Elon.
• Named physician leadership and a published insurance list that includes Medicare, Medicaid and Tricare. Elon publishes both. The Centra Care and BayCare location pages link to accepted-insurance lists too, so that half is a tie. None of the competitor pages we read named a medical director; that does not mean they lack one, so call and ask.
• Extra services under one roof: occupational medicine, DOT exams, and B12 injections with on-site lab testing. Centra Care also lists DOT physicals and occupational health; none of the other location pages we read list B12 injections.

1. Elon Health Urgent Care

43378 US Highway 27 Suite A, Davenport, FL 33837. Phone 863-282-2082. Open Monday to Friday 8am-8pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm. Walk in without an appointment or use the Book Online button on our site. Wait times vary, and patients who are sicker are seen first.

The clinic is led by Medical Director Dr. Leonardo Cisneros, FACEP, a board-certified emergency physician with more than 20 years of experience. You may be seen by a physician, physician assistant or nurse practitioner. Digital X-rays are taken on-site, and in most cases the provider reviews the images during your visit. The on-site lab covers blood draws (CBC, metabolic panels, glucose, cholesterol), urinalysis and rapid tests for strep, flu, COVID-19, RSV and mono, which are read during the same visit. Elon also offers physicals, sports and DOT exams, occupational medicine, drug screening, EKG and B12 injections. It accepts most major plans, including Aetna, Cigna, Florida Blue, UnitedHealthcare, Humana, Medicare, Medicaid, Tricare, Ambetter, Sunshine Health and Polk HealthCare Plan (full list on our insurance page). Self-pay pricing is available; call for current rates. Where another clinic may suit you better: on weekend evenings, and if you live at the far north or south end of Davenport.

2. AdventHealth Centra Care Davenport

40219 Highway 27, Suite 101, Davenport, FL 33837. Phone 863-588-4801. Hours as listed on its website in September 2026: Monday to Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am-5pm. It sits south of Elon on US-27, near the AdventHealth Heart of Florida hospital. Walk-ins are accepted, and the On My Way online tool reserves a spot in line (not a fixed appointment time).

Its page lists on-site X-rays and lab tests including blood glucose, COVID-19, flu, mono, pregnancy, strep throat and urinalysis, with other tests resulting within 24 hours. It also lists school, sports, camp and DOT physicals, EKGs for high school athletes, drug testing and on-site prescription filling. AdventHealth's pediatric page says all its Centra Care sites treat all ages, and the chain offers 24/7 virtual urgent care through its MyChart app. If you live near the hospital end of US-27, this clinic may be closer than Elon.

3. AdventHealth Centra Care Four Corners

49513 US Highway 27, Davenport, FL 33897. Phone 863-588-4811. Hours as listed on its website in September 2026: Monday to Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am-5pm. The page says walk-ins are accepted every day of the week, or you can reserve a spot online. It lists on-site X-rays and the same core lab tests as the Davenport site, plus stitches, occupational health with drug testing, and school, sports and DOT physicals. For homes near US-192 and the north end of Davenport, this is likely the closest urgent care.

4. AdventHealth Centra Care Haines City

35716 US Highway 27 N, Haines City, FL 33844. Phone 863-419-2120. Hours as listed on its website in September 2026: Monday to Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am-5pm. It lists on-site X-rays and lab tests, stitches, physicals and occupational health. Its page notes that wait times vary because patients with the greatest medical needs are seen first, which is true at any urgent care. A practical choice for the south end of the corridor.

5. BayCare Urgent Care (Haines City)

36245 U.S. Highway 27, Haines City, FL 33844. Phone (863) 866-9933. Hours as listed on its website in September 2026: Monday to Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am-6pm. That weekend close is one hour later than Elon's. The page says no appointment is needed, offers Save Your Spot online, and states that it treats adults and children starting at 6 months old.

It lists X-ray, laboratory testing as needed, COVID-19 testing, flu shots and immunizations, camp, school and sports physicals, nebulizer treatment and walk-in drug testing. If you need care late on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon, BayCare's listed hours give you more room than ours.

6. MinuteClinic at CVS (Davenport)

7575 Osceola Polk Line Rd., Davenport, FL 33896, near I-4 on the ChampionsGate and Reunion side. This is a retail clinic inside a CVS Pharmacy, not an urgent care. The hours in its page data read Monday to Friday 8:30am-7:30pm, Saturday 9am-5:30pm and Sunday 9am-4:30pm, with a midday break, so confirm before you go. The page says it sees adults and children 18 months and older and offers minor illness care, vaccinations and physicals. It does not state on-site X-ray or lab testing, so a possible fracture or a blood test is a better fit for an urgent care.

Which clinic fits your situation

• You are in central Davenport and want X-ray and lab in one stop: Elon, or Centra Care Davenport a little further south.
• It is Saturday or Sunday after 5pm: BayCare Haines City lists weekend hours to 6pm. After that, the nearest late option we verified is AdventHealth Centra Care Lake Buena Vista, which lists 7am to midnight daily, but it is a longer drive up I-4.
• You need care before 9am on a weekend: the Centra Care clinics list an 8am weekend opening.
• You want a video visit at night: AdventHealth lists 24/7 virtual urgent care in its app. It cannot X-ray an ankle, but it can help you decide where to go.
• You need a flu shot: BayCare, MinuteClinic and the Centra Care clinics list flu shots or vaccinations. Call Elon before you come for anything vaccine-related.

Urgent care or ER: know the difference before you drive

Urgent care is for problems that need attention today but are not life-threatening: sprains, simple cuts, fevers, sore throats, ear pain, urinary symptoms. Call 911 for chest pain or pressure, trouble breathing, stroke signs (sudden face drooping, arm or leg weakness on one side, confusion, trouble speaking or seeing), severe bleeding, a head injury with confusion or loss of consciousness, or an infant under 3 months with a fever of 100.4F (38C) or higher. The CDC says not to drive yourself if you think you are having a stroke; call 911.

The nearest emergency rooms we verified: the AdventHealth Heart of Florida hospital emergency department at 40100 US Highway 27, HCA Florida Haines City Emergency at 36810 Hwy 27 (open 24 hours), HCA Florida ChampionsGate Emergency at 8460 Champions Gate Blvd (open 24 hours), and Orlando Health Emergency Room Reunion Village at 8011 Osceola Polk Line Road. The last three are freestanding ERs. They bill as emergency departments, not urgent cares; Orlando Health's page says so in plain words.
