This list is published by Elon Health Urgent Care, which ranks itself first. We applied the criteria below to every clinic, including our own; check each clinic's details directly before you go.
B12 injections are a treatment for vitamin B12 deficiency, and a blood test is how a deficiency is confirmed. So the best place for a B12 shot near Davenport is one that can check your level first and follow up after. We rank Elon Health Urgent Care first because it offers same-day walk-in B12 injections with on-site lab testing on US-27. Few other local clinics list B12 injections on their websites, so this list is organized by type of provider rather than padded with names.
How we built this list
We searched for B12 injection services near Davenport and read each provider's own website on September 23, 2026. We found no other urgent care near Davenport that lists B12 injections on its location page. Criteria:
- Can test before treating. An on-site blood draw to check for deficiency, or a clear path to one.
- A licensed medical provider evaluates you, not just a menu of shots.
- Walk-in or same-day access on a schedule that fits working hours.
- Can bill insurance when the injection is medically necessary. Elon can bill eligible insurance; ask any other provider directly.
- Distance from Davenport. Elon is on US-27; the retail clinic is near I-4; the med spa and lab store we verified are in Winter Haven and east Kissimmee.
- Ongoing care. Elon does not win outright here: your own primary care doctor may know your history best.
The list, by type of provider
1. Elon Health Urgent Care (urgent care with an on-site lab)
43378 US Highway 27 Suite A, Davenport, FL 33837. Phone 863-282-2082. Open Monday to Friday 8am-8pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm. B12 injections are available same day as a walk-in. If you have not been tested, a provider can draw blood on-site to check for deficiency; many routine blood results come back in 1-2 business days. If the injection is right for you, the provider sets a follow-up schedule.
Visits are led by Medical Director Dr. Leonardo Cisneros, FACEP, a board-certified emergency physician; you may be seen by a physician, PA or nurse practitioner. Elon can bill eligible insurance when the injection is medically necessary, and self-pay is available; call for current rates or read about affordable B12 injections. Wait times vary.
2. Your primary care doctor
If you already have a doctor, start there. They can order a B12 level, review medicines that can lower B12, and manage long-term treatment if you have a condition such as pernicious anemia. The tradeoff is scheduling: many offices need an appointment, and not every office stocks injections. Ask whether they give the shot in the office or send you elsewhere.
3. Retail clinic: MinuteClinic at CVS
Davenport: 7575 Osceola Polk Line Rd., Davenport, FL 33896, near I-4. Kissimmee: 5308 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy, Kissimmee, FL 34746. The hours in both pages' data read Monday to Friday 8:30am-7:30pm, Saturday 9am-5:30pm and Sunday 9am-4:30pm, with a midday break.
CVS's B12 service page says MinuteClinic providers can give vitamin B12 injections to patients with a prescription, or may assess for anemia and treat as clinically indicated. The Davenport and Kissimmee location pages do not confirm B12 specifically, so call first and bring your prescription. On-site lab testing is not stated on either location page.
4. Med spa or IV lounge: Haven IV Lounge & MedSpa (Winter Haven)
29 5th Street NW, Winter Haven, FL. Phone (863) 360-0800. The hours in its site data read Tuesday 9:30am-3pm, Wednesday to Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9am-3pm; Sunday and Monday are not listed, and the site data gives two different opening times, so call to confirm. Its vitamin injections page lists B12 and says walk-ins are welcome and injections are given by trained medical staff under physician supervision.
A med spa is not a medical clinic. On-site lab testing is not stated, so ask whether they check your B12 level before a first injection, and take any claims about benefits with caution.
5. Lab testing sites (for the test, and one store that lists injections)
Any Lab Test Now, 1325 East Vine Street, Kissimmee, FL 34744. Phone (407) 344-8378. Hours as listed on its website in September 2026: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 9am-1pm, closed Sunday. It is a direct-to-consumer lab store where you can order blood tests yourself, and its Kissimmee site has a page titled Vitamin B12 Injection. Call to confirm what the location offers.
Quest Diagnostics, 40230 Highway 27, Suite 200, Davenport, FL 33837. Phone 863-270-5552. A sample collection site for doctor-ordered tests and tests you buy online. It does not treat or give injections. Its page data lists weekday hours of 5:30am-3:30pm and Saturday morning hours (confirm Saturday by phone), and says appointments take priority over walk-ins. Labcorp also has Davenport collection sites at 2209 North Blvd W and 108 Park Place Blvd. A lab site is useful if your doctor orders a B12 test, but you still need a provider to read the result and prescribe treatment.

Why the lab test comes first
The NIH Office of Dietary Supplements says B12 status is usually checked with a serum B12 level, and that when the result is borderline (150-399 pg/mL), a methylmalonic acid (MMA) test can help confirm a deficiency. Injected B12 is a prescription medicine, typically used for deficiency caused by pernicious anemia or other problems absorbing B12. The NIH also notes that very high oral doses brought B12 levels up similarly to injections in a small number of studies, so ask your provider which form fits you. More on vitamin B12 deficiency.
The NIH lists groups more likely to be low: older adults, people with pernicious anemia or digestive disorders, people who have had stomach or intestinal surgery, vegetarians and vegans, and people who take metformin or acid-reducing medicines for a long time. The symptoms of deficiency, such as tiredness, numbness or tingling, and a sore tongue, overlap with many other conditions, which is another reason to test rather than guess.
B12 shots are not a general energy or weight-loss treatment. The NIH says B12 supplements appear to have no benefit for performance in people who are not deficient. Food matters too: see the best foods high in vitamin B12.
When symptoms need the ER, not a B12 shot
Some symptoms people link to low B12 can also be signs of an emergency. Call 911 for sudden numbness or weakness in the face, arm or leg (especially on one side), sudden confusion or trouble speaking, sudden trouble seeing or walking, or a sudden severe headache: the CDC lists these as stroke signs and says not to drive yourself. Also call 911 for chest pain, shortness of breath, or feeling faint with a racing heart. Nearby ERs we verified: the AdventHealth Heart of Florida hospital emergency department at 40100 US Highway 27, HCA Florida Haines City Emergency at 36810 Hwy 27, and HCA Florida ChampionsGate Emergency at 8460 Champions Gate Blvd. The HCA sites are freestanding ERs and bill as emergency departments.
Before you go
- Call ahead to confirm B12 injections are available that day, and ask whether a lab test is needed first.
- Bring ID, your insurance card, a list of your medicines (including metformin or acid reducers) and any recent lab results.
- If you had B12 injections elsewhere, bring the dose and dates so the provider can plan follow-up.
